Welcome to Wildfang German Shepherds
Wildfang (pronounced "Vilfong") is from our German heritage, brought to the United States in about 1734 where our ancestors settled in Berks County, PA known as "Pennsylvania Dutch" country although the people were mostly of German origin. It is with great pride that we chose Wildfang as our kennel name.
The kennel Wildfang has been in existence since 2004. The early years were spent in researching, learning and acquiring healthy, well-bred German Shepherds that are superior representatives of the breed and have the qualities we want to perpetuate. Our goal has always been to breed fine, pure European lineage German Shepherds. Dogs and animals of all kinds have always been in our lives but the German Shepherd captured our eye and heart with it's beauty, intelligence, grace and loyalty.
We hope you will enjoy looking around our site and will come back often as we plan to provide information on the German Shepherd as a companion as well as training in the sport of Schutzhund (now known as IPO Training) and AKC obedience.
Training
Above is a sample video of some beginning IPO training. We offer professional AKC obedience training, IPO, and protection work for you and your dog. Classes or private lessons are available. Problem solving, obedience & agility. We can help you get ready for the show ring.
